38 mm Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic

For the sake of function and style, Panerai has always made the watch a big one. This tradition dates back to the first 47 mm prototype used by the Royal Navy frogman in the 1930s. The brand later introduced the 44mm Luminor (No. 5218) during the "Pre-Vendome" period, which appeared with Stallone in the 1996 film "Daylight". This move made Panerai begin to attract the attention of the international market, and also laid a solid foundation for the popular trend of the oversized watch in the following decade.

The replica Panerai Luminor watches 38mm wide Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic is also a long-awaited watch. Because a large group of watch fans love Panerai's design, but they can't control their oversized case. The Luminor's signature thin bezel and wide dial stretch the visual scale, making the watch even bigger. So even though this new work is the smallest Panerai watch ever, it looks like a 40mm wide sports watch. Interestingly, as the main driver of the big watch trend, the changes in the brand today also largely symbolize the end of this trend.

In 2018, Panerai no longer relied on the ETA movement. The 38mm Luminor Due 3 Days Automatic is no exception, with the brand's OP XXXIV homemade movement. This newly developed self-winding movement operates at 3Hz traverse and provides three-day power reserve. However, the fly in the ointment is that although the new case has a thickness of 11 mm, it is only 30 meters deep. The stainless steel back of the watch is a sealed design, and the rose gold is a see-through bottom cover. (Sorry, we only have a PAM908 rose gold watch on the back of the watch. Only this one is engraved with a carved pattern.) .
