Review Hublot Big Bang Zermatt

Both models limited to 150 pieces are powered by the self-winding HUB 4100 calibre. This reliable movement stores 42 hours of energy when fully wound and offers a chronograph function in addition to the date and time of the day.

The Hublot Big Bang replica dial’s layout with the small seconds at 9 o’clock, the chronograph registers at 3 and 6 o’clock and a date window at 4:30 is characteristic of the iconic “Big Bang”. So are the multi-layered construction of the case and the six “H-shaped” functional screws of the bezel. As always, the hours and minutes hands are semi-skeletonized just like those of the three counters and the central chronograph seconds hand ends with the brand’s stylised “H” logo. The folding buckle is as comfortable as always and both models boast a water resistance to a depth of 100 meters.

The case of the first version is crafted in luxurious red gold
while the second iteration uses the less conventional tungsten
. Both are beautifully satin-finished and paired with a black composite case band. A black ceramic bezel brings a nice visual contrast on both models and its hardness ensures the face of the watch is perfectly scratch-resistant. The dial is entirely grey, including the chronograph counters, with a sunray finish and the luminescent material for the hour markers and hands is black creating and extremely refined ensemble.
